This morning is my last time on the roof. I have enjoyerd the experience and plan on doing it agian next year. This has become an important topic for me and I plan to continue to help raise awareness as much as I can. I want to thank Gary and Brbara for stopping by over lunch and providing us with some bluegrass entertainment and Figarros' for providing pizza for our lunch.

Spent most of the day visiting with city council members learning about what is going on in the community to a greater extent. I can't believe how much I have learned through this experience, it has really open my eyes to mental health issues in outr community.

Just an update so far we have brought in nearly $3,000.00 in contributions. That is a great start on reaching our goal of $20,000.00, thank you all for showing your support.

Last night was a hoot! After I had had most of my visitors, the wind started to pipck up around 5 or so and lasted a few hours. However, before it died down it blew my tent off the roof, no worries though I got it back up after the wind died a little. Later I was able to watch all the High School students come and go for their prom, they all looked so nice dressed up in their formal gowns and tuxedos, I hope they enjoyed their evening.

I'm happy to see the lcoal government getting invovled and supporting a program that is making a differnece in the lives of the people who they serve & the community.

Bob,
Thank you for your extra-ordinary support of Central Center. I have been a member of Bridgeview (a program of Central Center) since 2003. Let me tell you what it means to be able to attend Bridgeview: staying alive with a quality of life. I have made friends at Bridgeview when I would otherwise not be able to. I have been allowed to join a writer's group when I wouldn't be able to in the mainstream. I am able to attend a mental health support group when I need to. Other special activities are also available thanks to you and other peoples' support. Thank you again.

Bob, I really appreciate your dedication to this cause. It is so wonderful to have a mayor that is willing to sit on a roof to raise money for our new building. I work with over 100 teens every year. They really need the extra help that Central Center provides so thank you for helping all of us!!!! Vicki
